Little Fox Race
ASK Branik MariborThe Golden Fox is a classical women’s alpine skiing competition for the FIS Ski World Cup, which annually takes place on the slopes of the Pohorje hill.
In 2017 the organiser ASK Branik Maribor went a step further by coming up with a new event especially for kids, a race of future champions - the LITTLE FOX RACE. A skiing competition for children in the categories from U8 to U16.
Zadrga was entrusted with the development of the visual identity for the event, which included the logotype and secondary elements. Furthermore, we designed the events brochure, posters and all the branding materials. One of the main highlights for each racer was his personalized video of his run. With a little more than 300 competitors on the start, we counted more than 5000 video downloads!
As the Little Fox race is an event for the youngest public, we created a likable mascot and presented it with the slogan: “Who let the fox out”. The blue and red fox adores children and loves skiing. Being a role model for the kids the fox joins them on their trainings, helps the coaches and on race day, she is there to give each upcoming champion a high five and a medal - no matter the result he or she achieved.
As the first LITTLE FOX RACE turned out to be a great success with skiers and coaches from seven countries, we truly look forward for the next editions.
