Lipko, the mascot goes digital

EuroBasket 2013

Lipko has been one of the most lively and inspiring mascots in the history of EuroBasket. His continuing mission, to entertain different target groups and to promote EuroBasket and Slovenia as a host, was marked by his very exquisite online communication. Lipko was the first mascot in history that really got involved on Twitter. He also created a series of interesting crazy stunts, which were shared, online. This together with permanent rich social media content and promotional and “fan service” content gave the mascot a special character establishing him as one of the stars of EuroBasket 2013.
