Maribox

The monolithic black cube on the bank of the Drava River was the inspiration behind the development of the new logo and name for the best cinema in town. The MARIBOX logo was built on the basis of this impressive cube. Due to the cube’s static nature, we wrapped it into colourful layers which make it dynamic and vivid.

The simple change of the letter R to X communicates both the location of the cinema as well as the form of the building itself. It also connects with multiple different-sized boxes which form the logo. MARIBOX is not just a cinema, it is a modern centre of various content which reflects in the logo itself.
